Trim channel goes on sides of lattice. Spacer clips should be used if there will be single slats on the perimeter as shown below, so there is a 1/2″ thickness to receive the channel.

CHANNEL INSTALLATION ACCESSORY
Trim Channel is intended to be used on the sides of the lattice to finish off your lattice project. Spacer clips would be needed if there are single slats on the edges where you will install the trim channel (Eg. A full sheet that will not be cut down).
This is for extra trim channel only, other parts are not included. For a complete Channel Installation Package, please view Channel Installation Package A or Channel Installation Package B.
